Welcome to Desert Sands Acupuncture Clinic for Cancer Care. The guiding principle at Desert Sands is to offer individuals with cancer the most effective acupuncture treatment and the highest quality of care. Each patient is unique and each type of cancer is different, so the best treatment for one patient may not be right for another. You can rest assured that the treatment plan at Desert Sands will be the best one for you.

Desert Sand’s services and therapies are available to anyone needing cancer support. The clinic is also open to friends and family members of those undergoing cancer therapies as well as for individuals with non-cancer related illnesses.  Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine can be valuable to those who are not ill but wish to increase self-awareness, enhance well-being, manage symptoms such as pain and anxiety, and help prevent health-related problems.

Listening and compassion are the foundation of the Desert Sands treatment. Focus is on the patient, not the disease. Our objectives are to provide services that address the many physical and emotional challenges that can arise during cancer therapy, and improve the quality of life and prognosis of the whole person.

The goal of our acupuncture program is to enhance your natural healing response, monitor your treatment and watch for side effects, educate you and your family about what to expect during treatment, and offer emotional support.
